概述了陕西省稀有、濒危物种的地理分布和区系特征。重点阐述了西安植物园在挽救陕西省 稀有濒危物种的行动中所做的研究工作，对植物园多年来迁地保护的31种珍濒植物进行了引种结果评述，并提出了陕西省珍稀濒危物种的保护对策。
