Abstract:
 The SOC1 gene (Suppressor of Overexpression of CO1) plays an important role in plant flowering.Walnut (Juglans regia),a deciduous tree in Juglandaceae,is an important nut tree that has a wide range of economic value cultivated all over the world.Achieving short-term growth and rapid growth plays an important role in promoting the economic development of walnut industry.In order to further study the flowering mechanism of walnut,a walnut cultivar ’Xiangling’ was used as experimental material and JrSOC1 protein and system evolution were analyzed by bioinformatics.The results showed that the molecular weights of the protein JrSOC1-1,2,and 3 were 22 366.96,24 014.61 and 26 766.79 u,respectively,and the number of amino acids were 191,208 and 232,respectively,the theoretical isoelectric points were 9.70,9.10,9.00,respectively.We also found that JrSOC1 shared close evolutionary relationship with the homologous protein of other species through the establishment of phylogenetic tree.The results of subcellular localization showed that JrSOC1-1,2 and 3 were localized in cell membrane,cytoplasm and nucleus.Moreover,the expression levels of JrSOC1 gene in different tissues of walnut at different stages were compared by real-time fluorescence quantitative technology (qRT-PCR).The results showed that the expression content of the three genes was the highest in the apical bud in early February,and less in male and female flowers.Therefore,it is indicated that JrSOC1 gene could be involved in the formation of flower buds,and can be used as an important candidate gene for the analysis of walnut flowering mechanism.
